For some time now I’ve been meaning to upgrade the system on my old and trusty IBM Thinkpad T42. It’s had Suse 9.3 on it from pretty much when I bought it about four years ago, and as that particular Suse version is no longer supported, it was effectively unable to be upgraded. [...]
